Our Reading Program supports children from first sounds to sophisticated analysis, with a focus on real understanding—not memorizing answers.
Early Literacy (Ages 3–5)

Fluent Comprehension (Ages 6–12)

How the Reading Program Works
We combine guided reading, discussion, and writing so that students connect with texts and learn how to think and communicate clearly about what they’ve read.
- Level-based guided reading groups with targeted texts.
- Vocabulary and grammar practice built into real passages.
- Short writing tasks that turn ideas into sentences and paragraphs.
- Regular comprehension checks that go beyond multiple choice.
A Week in the Reading Program
- 2x Live Reading Sessions: group reading, discussion, and strategy modeling.
- 2–3x Practice Days: independent reading, skill pages, or short responses.
- Weekly Writing Task: a paragraph or short essay linked to the reading.
- Progress Notes: updates on fluency, comprehension, and writing skills.
